Sugar Grove Senior Center benefit to feature ‘Stooges’ clips

SUGAR GROVE – After The Salvation Army ended its twice-weekly golden diners program in summer 2011, Chris Walker and his wife began monthly potluck lunches to fill the void.

Each of the Sugar Grove Senior Center lunches average about 30 people, he said. The meals don’t receive any “real funding,” so he was looking for a fun, inexpensive and different fundraiser for them.

His idea? A benefit named Three Stooges; Four Refreshments.
