Old home day for East girls bowlers

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

Thursday marked the St. Charles East girls bowling team's first appearance at St. Charles Bowl since changing its home lanes before the season.

The East boys and girls shifted to Bowling Green in West Chicago, seeking more practice space.

It was a successful homecoming for the Saints, who remained unbeaten in Upstate Eight Conference River Division matches with a 2,704-1,904 victory against Geneva.

"It was nice to see everybody," East coach Mary Ann Carrell said. "It's been nice to see the same faces that we haven't seen all year."
