Face Time with Ashley Brown

Cortland resident Ashley Brown, 23, was working at the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Geneva when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Sycamore

Who would play you in the movie of your life? If I wanted to flatter myself, I’d say Scarlett Johansson.

First job? Working at Primary School Supplies in Sycamore.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I’m still in the process of growing up, but possibly I’d like to do nonprofit fundraising.

A book you’d recommend? “Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde

Favorite charity? Northern Illinois Food Bank

Hobbies? Drawing and reading

Favorite local restaurant? Wild Monk Gastropub in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have a twin brother. He is an hour and three minutes older – my poor mother.
