Article:	Letter: Where should we place the blame for school shootings? There have reportedly been at least 79 school shootings in the U.S. over the last 13 years. The most recent shooting in Newtown, Conn., was the most brutal and horrific, leaving 20 innocent young children dead. The blame for this tragedy is being placed all over, ranging from inanimate objects (guns) to deity (God). The old saying is that when you point a finger at someone else, there are four more pointing back at you.
