Park district to host Hickory Knolls Discovery Day 'Dressed for Success' event

Join the St. Charles Park District for the second annual Hickory Knolls Discovery Days "Dressed for Success" from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27. Experience life as the animals do, facing the challenges that nature brings. Enjoy nature-related games, activities, craft projects and seasonal fun. All ages are welcome. The cost is $2 per person with proceeds going toward the care and maintenance of Hickory Knolls' animal displays.

Special attractions are dog sled demonstrations by Free Spirit Huskies and an appearance by Fox News Meteorologist Tammie Souza from 2 to 3 p.m.

There will be another Discovery Days scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10 with a birds of prey demonstration.
