Man’s death near ballpark ruled suicide
GENEVA – The death of a 43-year-old Geneva man whose body was found in a tree near the Philip B. Elfstrom Events Center on Saturday has been ruled a suicide.
Laurie Metanchuk, community affairs director for the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, said forest preserve police closed their investigation over the weekend.
Fifth Third Bank Ballpark is in the events center.
