Maple Park sets hearing on street name change
MAPLE PARK – Maple Park has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed changing of a street name. Officials will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the civic center, 302 Willow St.
According to a draft ordinance, officials seek to change the name of a street from Willow Lane to Ashton Drive and assign street addresses on East Ashton Drive and East DeKalb Drive.
Clerk Liz Peerboom said the street is no more than 50 feet long and has no houses.
