Teen, 18, charged in battery at Geneva High School

GENEVA – An 18-year-old was charged with battery against a 15-year-old in a Jan. 18 incident at Geneva High School, according to police reports.

Tyler J.D. Olsen, of the 800 block of Howell Drive, Geneva, was charged with misdemeanor battery. He posted $150 bail, 10 percent of his $1,500 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Olsen is charged with intentionally causing bodily harm by throwing a water bottle that struck the 15-year-old, pushing him into a vending machine and punching him with a closed fist.
