Do you have any pets? I have a dog. Her name is Lanta, and she’s a husky-bulldog.

Who would you in the movie of your life? Jim Gaffigan

What was your first job? I was a paper boy.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Forest firefighter. I went to fire science school, and then I decided I didn’t want to be a firefighter anymore. I went into culinary, and I’ve been cooking ever since.

Do you have any hobbies? Hiking, outdoor sports and cooking

What do you do here? I cook. And I cook at home. I cook all day long.

What are the best things to get at Schmidt’s? The burgers are phenomenal, and our steaks on the weekends are great. We do an awesome fish fry. I’m smoking some turkey breasts outside for later this week. … We get bands in here every other weekend.

What is your favorite local restaurant? Schmidt’s

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I absolutely love history, all history. In high school, I hated it. I didn’t understand why we needed to know anything about anything, but now I can’t get enough of it.

Whose jersey are you wearing? This is my high school number. A friend of mine got it for my birthday. I played at Geneva. I graduated in 1994. I was a center. I played against Joey Goodspeed in high school, and I broke my wrist. There’s another factoid.
