• A man, 64, of the 700 block of Queens Gate Circle, Sugar Grove, told police someone had shot his glass patio door with a BB or pellet gun Jan. 8, cracking a double pane of glass the length of the door.

• A woman, 48, of the 800 block of Queens Gate Circle, Sugar Grove, told police someone had taken her wallet from her purse while she was shopping at a store in the 400 block of Route 47 on Jan. 8 and had used a credit card to make six unauthorized purchases totaling more than $1,900 at a store in Yorkville. Police said one attempted purchase was denied.

• Caileen Thomas, 26, of the 300 block of Quarry Ridge Circle, Sugar Grove, was charged Jan. 9 with domestic battery.
