Prep roundup: Rosary girls basketball rallies to win in regular-season finale

AURORA – The Rosary girls basketball team stormed back from an eight-point deficit going into the fourth quarter Tuesday to rally for a 56-51 win against Plainfield Central in the Royals’ regular-season finale.

Rosary coach Jessie Wilcox said her team wreaked defensive havoc from about the 6 minute mark to the 4 minute mark of the fourth quarter.

“[Karly Tate] got like three, long-court pass interceptions and took them in for layups within that stretch right there, and Quincy Kellett hit some big free throws for us down the line,” Wilcox said.

What do you think of people using fireworks near their homes?

That shouldn't be tolerated. It's dangerous.
I'd never do it, but I'll watch others.
It's OK so long as the fireworks are legal.
It's not a problem. It's just a way to celebrate.
I have no opinion.
