Geneva resident Vicki Vetang, 55, was at the Batavia Orchid Society Show when she answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Indianapolis

Pets? A cocker spaniel named Cooper

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Sandra Bullock

First job? A junior counselor for day camp in Indianapolis when I was about 15

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I don’t remember what I wanted to be. … I was thinking I would grow up and be like June Cleaver.

A book you’d recommend? “Portrait of a Spy” by Daniel Silva

Favorite charity? We do Shop With A Cop through FOP 14.

Hobbies? I grow orchids, cross stitch, and I like to make my own greeting cards.

Favorite local restaurant? Matsuri Japanese Restaurant in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I’m a nurse, and my best friend is a nurse and the two of us volunteer to run the first aid station at the DuPage County Fair every year.

What was the most interesting injury you dealt with? A little girl got her foot stepped on by her pig.
