North Aurora man faces domestic battery charges

NORTH AURORA – A North Aurora man has been charged with domestic battery after police say he pushed his wife to the ground, choked her and threatened to kill her.



Police were called to the 200 block of Magnolia Drive shortly before 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The North Aurora Police Department arrested Anthony J. Scotti, 35, after he turned himself in, according to a news release. Scotti had fled the scene in his vehicle before the North Aurora Police Department arrived.



Deputy Chief David Fisher with the North Aurora Police Department said Scotti turned himself in about 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
