Sugar Grove police reports
• A man, 32, of the 200 block of Meadows Drive, Sugar Grove, told police Feb. 14 that a central air conditioning unit had been removed from the exterior of his home. Police said the unit was valued about $2,500. Police said a similar unit had been removed from the home of a neighbor. Police said no physical evidence was recovered from the scene.
• A man, 31, of the 200 block of West Park Avenue, Sugar Grove, told police that someone had smashed six glass window panes at his townhome Feb. 17. The man believed the incident had been committed by a former co-worker.
• A woman, 56, of the 49W800 block of Lasher Road, Big Rock, told police that she had been passed a counterfeit $100 bill by an employee of a bank during a transaction in which she closed out an account at that bank. She was notified of the counterfeit nature of the bill by an employee at a different bank, where she attempted to deposit the money from her closed account Feb. 23.
