Letter: Learn who the candidates are

To the Editor:

“Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government," Thomas Jefferson wrote back in 1789. These words still hold true over 200 years later, and with this principle in mind, the Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to host a Meet the Candidates Night for local residents, businesses and the surrounding community.

The event will take place Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 Main St., Sugar Grove. It is open to the public and free of charge.
