Geary reveals donation figures, challenges Michels to do the same

Sugar Grove Trustee Kevin Geary, a candidate for village president in the April 9 election, has revealed donation figures for the upcoming election and asked his opponent, Village President Sean Michels, to do the same. Friends of Kevin Geary released, on the Geary campaign website (, all donors of $150 or more, since Jan. 1.

The campaign challenges Friends of Sean Michels to do the same.
"I have always been an advocate of openness and transparency," Geary said in a news release. "This is important to ensure good government and honest representation."
