Where did you grow up? St. Charles

Pets? A red and white Irish setter named Dudley, and two cats, Daisy and Ferris

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Judi Dench

First job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A priest. I became an editor of educational materials.

A book you’d recommend? “Straight Man: A Novel” by Richard Russo

Favorite charity? Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago

Do you speak another language? French

Do you play an instrument? I play and teach piano.

Hobbies? I volunteer with political organizations. I am volunteering with the St. Charles mayoral race for Ray Rogina. I also volunteer for the Progressive Caucus.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Wynton Marsalis and Elie Wiesel.
