BC pitchers bring the buzzkill

Tuesday was a bad day to be a Hornet – at least the Harvard variety.

Between softball (Emily Kisch) and baseball (Alex Bell), Burlington Central pitchers recorded 27 of a possible 42 outs via strikeout in separate complete-game shutouts of the Rockets' Big Northern East foe.

Kisch, a freshman, fanned 14 in a no-hitter at Harvard, while Bell spaced five hits and one walk in his victory.
