ST. CHARLES – St. Charles East senior Paige Jordan on Wednesday signed to play her collegiate golf at Bradley.
Jordan, the reigning Kane County Chronicle Girls Golfer of the Year, verbally committed to the Peoria school in February.
“The coach is awesome, the team is amazing. They’re moving in the right direction,” Jordan said. “The school is very accredited. It’s close to home but not too close. … I wanted to play for a Division I program, so Bradley was a perfect opportunity for me.”
Jordan qualified for the IHSA Class AA state tournament and was the individual winner at the Crystal Lake Central Regional at Algonquin’s Golf Club of Illinois.
Jordan said she has been honing her game at various indoor facilities during the offseason, including the White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville and Addison Links & Tees.
