Police Reports

St. Charles police reports

• Emma Urbina-Perez, 34, of the 800 block of Burr Oaks Drive, West Chicago, was charged Sunday, April 14, with retail theft for reportedly stealing about $93 in merchandise from Walmart, 150 Smith Road.

• Kelsey D. Hahn, 20, of the 1700 block of Cumberland Drive, St. Charles, was charged Sunday, April 14, with underage drinking.

• Aaron Laughlin Clevenger, 20, of the 100 block of Millington Way, St. Charles, was charged Sunday, April 14, with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence.

• A mailbox in the 1100 block of Crabapple Lane, St. Charles, was reported damaged Sunday, April 14, from a “pop bottle bomb,” a homemade device police reported is typically made by teens who have learned some chemistry. The bottle reportedly burst before police arrived.

• The driver’s side front window of a Mercedes 380 in the 1300 block of Fox Meadow Court, St. Charles, was reported broken Monday, April 15. Nothing was reported missing, but a marble-size gray ball bearing was found in the back seat.

• A resident of the 2000 block of Wessel Court, St. Charles, reported Monday, April 15, she lost $130 in an advance fee loan scam that had her believing she would get a $2,000 loan.

• Sarah Roselyn Schwartz, 21, of the 100 block of Kyle Lane, Kirkland, was charged Monday, April 15, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, speeding and driving without insurance.
