Kenny officially accepted as Kaneland wrestling coach

Kaneland School District 302 on Monday accepted the nomination of Jeremy Kenny as wrestling coach.

A former Knights assistant under Monty Jahns – who decided to resign his position due to an increased workload at his day job – Kenny wrestled at Kaneland, as well.

Competing at 171 pounds, Kenny qualified for the Class AA state meet as a senior in 2004. The Chronicle first reported his nomination last month.
