Through May 31, snap a picture of yourself, your friends and/or family holding the new 2013 Geneva Visitor’s Guide in front of a Geneva business that is listed in the guide. Post it to the Geneva Chamber of Commerce Facebook page at “Geneva, IL – Chamber of Commerce & Tourism” with a brief description of where you are and why you chose that location. All who join in the fun will be entered in a random drawing – to be held after May 31 – for $50 in Geneva gift certificates.
New Geneva Visitor’s Guides can be picked up at the chamber office at 8 S. Third St. in Geneva or various locations in Geneva.

Saturday brings the Gardenology event to Geneva. Gardenology advisers and vendors will bring their best ideas and garden-related products to jump-start your gardening season. Experts in every horticulture field will be on hand to answer your questions. Scheduled seminars, demonstrations and children’s events are planned and posted on the Gardenology website, www.gardenologygenevail.com. Come downtown from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to get your green thumbs ready for the season.
And don’t forget to eat and shop – many of Geneva’s restaurants and stores will be offering specials that day, too.
