Face time with Nichole Lindsay

South Elgin resident Nichole Lindsay, 25, was at Lincoln Park in St. Charles with Jack, 9 months, for a Mommy Meet-Up when she answered eight questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Streamwood

Pets? A pit bull named Diamond and a parakeet named Snowball

First job? Sales clerk at Target

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a mom, and I became that. I have four children.

A book you’d recommend? Anything by C.S. Lewis

Favorite charity? I ran a 5K to raise money for Shoes for Orphan Souls, a charity that provides new shoes and socks to orphans.

Favorite local restaurant? Chili’s

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have been to China, Scotland, and I can sing opera.
