St. Charles police reports

• Johnathan Bedolla-Baeza, 23, of the 1900 block of Bennington Court, Elgin, was charged Wednesday, May 8, with driving without a license, driving without insurance and speeding. He was also arrested on a Kane County warrant on a charge of retail theft but was released on $2,500 bond.

• Julio Aguirre, 46, of the 200 block of Morgan Street, Elgin, was charged Saturday, May 11, with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and failure to wear a seat belt.

• Ryan C. Dobbins, 21, of the 5N200 block of Meadow Drive, St. Charles, was charged Monday, May 13, with public drunkenness.

• Walmart, 150 Smith Road, St. Charles, reported Friday, May 10, that 33 PlayStation 3 games with a total value of $697 were missing from their packaging. Video surveillance from Wednesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 9, reportedly showed a man cutting open the video games’ packaging and placing the games in his coat pocket. The man appeared to be in his early 20s, about 5-foot-7, dark skinned and wore a black jacket with red and white lettering, a white T-shirt, dark jeans and dark shoes.

• Heather L. Douglass, 35, of the 1900 block of Moore Avenue, St. Charles, was charged Monday, May 13, with retail theft for reportedly stealing assorted groceries and gardening products from Walmart, 150 Smith Road, St. Charles.
