Into the Storm: Rough allergy season, and a chance of rain this weekend

I would like to talk about this allergy season with El Nino season. The last week has been the worst of the year for pollen counts. Tree pollen this weekend was at 97 percent which is extremely high.

The best advice I can give anyone with allergies or suffering is stay indoors as much as possible. Take showers to rinse your hair, as pollen will stick in the hair after being outdoors. If we could just get some rain, it may lower the counts.

As for the severe season for weather, it has been very quiet so far. Our area sees the most severe storms in May and June. Theres no real sign yet of anything extreme in the future – but we are borderline this weekend. We should be getting some rain at least. Stay tuned for further updates on the weather and on my website at www.stormchaser1.net.
