ST. CHARLES – First-graders from Lisa McMorris and Marti McCloud’s class at Lincoln School in St. Charles visited residents of Delnor Glen Senior Living Center in St. Charles as part of the school’s “Make a Difference” theme.

Students sang songs, shared artwork depicting the song “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong and presented seniors with potted plants decorated with student-made flags in honor of Memorial Day.

During the visit, McMorris wrote in an email, the children learned about the difference they can make in the lives of others with gifts from the heart.
