Published: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

Batavia resident Cindy Rojic was working at her garage sale when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Glendale Heights

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Leelee Sobieski. She would have to, because Sobieski is my maiden name.

First job? Checking coats at the Holiday Inn in Lombard

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A dancer on the Red Skelton Show. Instead I became the garage sale queen. My friend made me this T-shirt [because] every year during Batavia’s Citywide Garage Sale, me and all my friends bring their stuff, and we have a great time.

A movie you’d recommend? “Doctor Zhivago”

Favorite charity? St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

What TV game show would you be on? What’s My Line?

Favorite local restaurant? Portillo’s in Batavia

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I served Soupy Sales at the Cock and Bull Pub in West Chicago.
