Elburn police investigating man's death as possible suicide

ELBURN – The Elburn Police Department is investigating the death of a 30-year-old man, who was found Sunday morning on the deck of his home in the 300 block of East Nebraska Street in Elburn, according to a news release issued by the police department.

Police said they are investigating the death as a possible suicide.

Police said the man was found on the rear deck by another resident, who called 911 to report the incident. Elburn and Countryside Fire Department personnel responded to assist the police. The Kane County Coroner's Office also is assisting with the investigation.
