• A woman who lives in the 38W500 block of Sunset Drive, St. Charles Township, reported almost becoming the victim of a fraud on Monday, June 3, when she responded to an email telling her someone had tried to get into her online account. The emailer asked her to verify all her personal information – passwords, social security number, account numbers, driver’s license number and mother’s maiden name. According to reports, “as soon as she hit ‘send’ she had a bad feeling,” and changed all her account numbers.
