First Team

Amanda Lulek, Geneva, Sr., F

Lulek scored 18 of her 54 career goals as a senior. The fleet-footed Iowa recruit was a four-year all-conference and all-sectional player.

Quincy Kellett, Rosary, So., F

The explosive sophomore matched the 27 goals she scored as a freshman but this time as a known commodity, against tighter marking. Netted game-winner in 2-1 double overtime win against Kaneland to lead Royals to a 2A regional title.

Carly Pottle, St. Charles East, Sr., F

The Wisconsin-Whitewater recruit led the Saints with 21 goals and also tied for team high with eight assists.

Camille Dela Cruz, Burlington Central, Sr., M

Dela Cruz contributed 18 goals and 31 assists and was the “on-field leader and playmaker” for an 18-3-1 Central team, according to Rockets coach Stephen Berry. Will play at Northern Iowa.

Alex Gage, St. Charles North, Sr., M

The all-conference and all-state Loyola recruit continued to earn high marks for her versatility and skill level in the midfield, scoring a team-leading 16 goals and adding 12 assists. Was named a second-team Chicago Fire All-State academic award winner.

Amanda Hilton, St. Charles East, Jr., M

East coach Paul Jennison said not many midfielders are capable of going “box to box” the way the high-motor Hilton can. The Nebraska recruit added nine goals.

Kelly Manski, St. Charles North, Sr., M/F

The Kane County Chronicle Girls Soccer Player of the Year was “consistently the hardest working player on the field” for the North Stars in coach Ruth Vostal’s estimation, and the Wisconsin-Milwaukee recruit’s 12 goals and 10 assists showed up in some of the biggest moments of North’s season.

Allie Arvizu, St. Charles East, Sr., D

One of the Upstate Eight Conference’s most physical defenders, Arvizu was simply “a rock” for the Saints’ back line, Jennison said.

Kenzie Rose, St. Charles North, Sr., D

The leader of a formidable North defense, Rose is known for outscrapping players in the box, such as her goal in double overtime to give North a 1-0 sectional semifinal win against Conant. Will play collegiately at Winona State.

Annie Waldoch, Geneva, Jr., D

The three-year varsity starter and Geneva captain excelled at winning headers and helped lead the Vikings to 12 shutouts on the spring. An all-sectional designee.

Jordan Ginther, Kaneland, Sr., GK

The Purdue recruit capped her Knights career with 11 shutouts and allowed only 10 goals in 19 matches. An all-conference and all-sectional selection.
