Geneva police reports

• A gunmetal gray Valentino purse with rhinestone clasp, valued at $1,100, was reported stolen Tuesday, May 14, from Jobella’s, 310 Campbell St. 

• Nicollette A. M. Parra, 23, of the 1100 block of Freedom Road, Elburn, was charged Thursday, May 16, with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08 percent, driving in the wrong lane and driving without insurance.

• Douglas W. Komes, 55, of the 200 block of South Second Street, St. Charles, was charged Friday, May 31, with misdemeanor retail theft of less than $300 worth of clothes from Marshall’s, 1596 S. Randall Road. According to reports, police found Komes outside the store wearing a shirt, jeans, hat, shoes and socks with Marshall’s sales tags hanging from them. Komes is being held in the Kane County jail on $1,500 bail.

• Brett D. Quillan, 18, of the 0S400 block of Ellithorp Lane, Blackberry Township, was charged Saturday, June 1, with underage drinking. Eric J. Mueller, 19, of the 800 block of Manchester Course, Geneva, also was charged with underage drinking in the same incident.

• A Macbook Air laptop valued at $2,200 was reported stolen from a car Tuesday, May 28, while it was parked at the Fresh Market, 718 Commons Drive. Also taken was a  Frank Clegg leather briefcase in cognac brown valued at $910.

• Christopher A. Fillmore, 25, of the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue, Belvidere, was charged Thursday, May 30, with driving under the influence and illegal squealing of tires.
