Face time with Grzegorz Mroczek

Grzegorz Mroczek, 30, was with his son, Sebastian, at Kehoe “Rocket Ship” Park in St. Charles when he answered eight questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Pilsno, Poland. I’ve been here more than 11 years.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Russell Crowe.

First job? I was making noise so the animals would come out, mostly rabbits, for the hunting.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to help people, and right now I am a nurse. I wanted to be a doctor, but it’s too much schooling.

A movie you’d recommend? “Gladiator” and “Warrior” and “The Place Beyond the Pines.”

Do you speak another language? Polish, English, and I’m learning Spanish.

Favorite charity? I give money for breast cancer research.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I am in martial arts. I used to do kickboxing, but now I do mixed martial arts.
