Face time with Jennamarie Denna

Geneva resident Jennamarie Denna, 20, was helping out at the indoor garage sale at Hosanna! Lutheran Church in St. Charles when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Geneva

Pets? A golden retriever named Sassy

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Rachel McAdams

First job? I worked for my dad at his warehouse.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be either a ballerina or an ice skater. Now I’m hoping to be a chef working at Disney.

A book you’d recommend? “Reverence: Renewing a Forgotten Virtue,” by Paul Woodruff

Do you speak another language? I’m studying Japanese.

Favorite local restaurant? Villa Verone in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? When Ronald Reagan was a lifeguard, he rescued my grandma in a pool. And my dad, Larry Denna, was Ronald Reagan’s driver for a short time when he was governor.
