Face Time with Calee Luna

Campton Hills resident Calee Luna, 12, was at Norton’s Produce with her uncle, Benn Norton, when she answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Campton Township, and then it became Campton Hills.

Pets? Three dogs, a cocker spaniel named Mexi – pronounced MEH-hee – a boxer named Vince, and we have a pit bull puppy named Brandi.

First job? Working here at Norton’s farm

What do you want to be when you grow up? A photographer. I want to take pictures of landscapes and flowers. 

A book you’d recommend? “Rules” by Cynthia Lord

Do you speak another language? Spanish

Favorite charity? American Red Cross

What game show would you be on?” The Price is Right”

Favorite subject in school? Math.

Favorite local restaurant? Chili’s in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have a fraternal twin sister who is two or three minutes older than me. She has the same hair as me, but she has curly hair and green eyes. My eyes are brown. And she’s a head taller than me.
