Campton Hills police reports

• Police received a report about patio furniture that had been stolen sometime between Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5. The victim, who lives in the 4N300 block of Foxfield Drive, Campton Hills, reported that a metal patio table, four chairs and four chair cushions had been stolen. The table’s umbrella was left in some bushes nearby. The victim also said that his vehicle was burglarized a few months ago and $50 was taken, but never reported it.

• Police received a report that the mount for a gazing ball was stolen from a decorative garden sometime between Sunday, June 30, and Monday, July 1, from a home in the 4N400 block of School Road, Campton Hills. The gazing ball was inside of the house, and only the white concrete mount was taken. The mount is about two feet tall and fits over a small pipe for stabilization.

• Thomas A. Sparacino, 57, of the 3N200 block of Loretta Drive, Campton Hills, was charged Sunday, June 30, with domestic battery.

• Elijah Samuel Puffenbarger, 20, of the 400 block of South Geneva Street, Maple Park, was charged Saturday, June 29, with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
