Face time with Betsy Jagiello

Geneva resident Betsy Jagiello, 62, was at the butterfly house at Peck Farm Park in Geneva when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Evanston

Pets? A curbstone setter named Lucy. We don’t know what she is. 

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Debbie Reynolds

First job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be an art history teacher. I worked as a secretary at Harrison Street School in Geneva for a while. I became a mom.

A book you’d recommend? “Evergreen” by Belva Plain

Favorite charity? Multiple Sclerosis Foundation

What game show would you be on? “Family Feud”

Favorite local restaurant? Wildfire in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have been to Ireland twice, being of Irish heritage. And it was kind of nice to go and see where the family comes from and do a little genealogy, see what our roots are.
