Police Reports

Geneva police reports

• Durand Parish, 41, of the 1400 block of South County Farm Road, Wheaton, was charged Sunday, July 14, with eluding police, altering a registration tag, operating a vehicle with an expired registration, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and passing in a no-passing zone.

• A mailbox and post, valued at $100, were reported stolen Saturday, July 13, from a house in the 600 block of Parker Court.

• A mountain bike valued at $400 was reported stolen Friday, July 12, from where it was locked in the bike rack at 328 Crescent Place.

• The rear passenger side of a vehicle was reported scratched Thursday, July 11, while it was parked in the 1800 block of South Randall Road. Damage was estimated at $700.

• The trunk lid of a vehicle was reported damaged Wednesday, July 10, while it was parked in the 800 block of Manchester Course. Police found wood fencing and two landscaping bricks they believed were used to cause an estimated $425 damage to the car.

• Monica L. Martin, 21, of the 39W500 block of West Haladay Lane, Blackberry Township, was charged Tuesday, July 9, with possession of drug equipment, and he received a written warning for failure to signal.

• An iPod and wallet valued at $350 were reported stolen Sunday, July 7, from a car in the 900 block of Brentwood Place. According to police reports, the wallet had been left in the cup holder of the car’s center console.
