Batavia police reports

• An AT&T cable box in the 1000 block of South Raddant Road was reported damaged with red paint on Thursday, July 18. A sidewalk was also damaged with red paint.

• An unlocked bicycle valued at $250 was reported taken July 18 from the lower level bicycle rack at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.

• A keyless entry/alarm remote valued at $100 was reported taken Wednesday, July 17, from XSport Fitness, 81 N. Randall Road. A vehicle key valued at $25 also was reported taken, along with an ID membership card and house keys.

• Items valued at $750 were reported taken Wednesday, July 17, from Royal Tool and Machine, 1209 Paramount Parkway.

• Someone on Tuesday, July 16, reportedly put graffiti on Fantastico’s, 227 W. Wilson St., causing $100 in damage.

• Three end caps were reported taken Sunday, July 14, from a fire hydrant at Carlisle Road and South Jackson Street.

• A rear window was broken out between Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, on a car parked in the 1100 block of Towne Avenue.

• A rear window was reported broken out Sunday, July 14, on a car parked in the 0-100 block of Cottonwood Circle, causing an estimated $300 in damage.

• A cellphone valued at $400 was reported left in a checkout lane Sunday, July 14, at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road.

• John F. Vallery, 24, of the 400 block of Division St., Elgin, was charged Friday, July 12, with possession of marijuana. He was also issued a warning for speeding.
