Batavia police reports

• Andrew M. Fliss, 26, of the 4N070 block of Trotter Lane near St. Charles, was charged Thursday, July 25, of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was also charged with three counts of improper lane use and making an improper signal.

• Two sections of newly poured concrete in the 1000 block of Larkspur Lane were reported defaced on Tuesday, July 23. Damage was estimated at $100.

• Judith M. Tollios, 48, of the 2100 block of Alexander Street, Batavia, was charged Tuesday, July 23, with retail theft. Police said she took three diffusers valued at $38.97 from Menards, 300 N. Randall Road.

• Edward R. Arbet, 54, of the 600 block of North Prairie Street, was issued a complaint Tuesday, July 23, for open liquor.

• A mailbox in the 1200 block of Payne Avenue was reported vandalized Monday, July 22. The house and a vehicle also were reported vandalized, and the garage door was vandalized, costing $66 to repair.

• A window on a car in the Trader Joe’s parking lot, 1942 Fabyan Parkway, was reported shattered Sunday, July 21, costing an estimated $150 in damage.

• Someone at the Quarry Beach pool, 400 S. Water St., reported on Monday, July 15, being hit twice with pellets from an airsoft gun, causing two bleeding welts. The individual refused medical attention.
