St. Charles resident Vinny Grado, 28, was at his father’s garage sale in Geneva when he answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? Emerson, N.J. We moved here in 1996.

Pets? A lab mix named Bella.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Dimebag Darrell

First job? Detailing cars. Everything led to cars, cars, cars.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a cop. I ended up being an auto painter.

A movie you’d recommend? “Goon”

Do you play an instrument? Drums. I’m in a band, Lugubrious. It’s deathcore, death metal.

Favorite charity? Anything for taking care of animals.

What game show would you be on? “Family Feud”

Favorite local restaurant? The Beef Shack in St. Charles

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Mitch Lucker from Suicide Silence.
