Face Time with Tom Buscaglia

St. Charles resident Tom Buscaglia, 73, was at the classic car show in Geneva when he answered eight questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.  

Where did you grow up? West side of Chicago

Do you have a car in the show? Yes, a 1951 alpine blue Ford.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Peter Falk

First job? Working at Schneider’s Bakery on Madison Street in Chicago

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Roy Rogers. I became an iron worker, and I used to teach welding at the College of DuPage.

A book you’d recommend? “The Jack Reacher” series by Lee Child

Favorite charity? As Good as Gold, a golden retriever rescue

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Leo Buscaglia, and he is a distant relative from the same village in Italy.
