District 304 students achieve record ACT score

GENEVA – Geneva High School’s graduating class of 2013 achieved a record average ACT composite score of 24.6, according to numbers released by ACT. 

The average composite ACT score for 2013 graduates state-wide is 20.6. Nationwide, the composite score is 20.9, officials said.

Superintendent Kent Mutchler praised the students for their hard work in achieving the high scores. Mutchler also thanked the staff, parents and community for supporting education.

Geneva District 304 showed a 2.3-point increase in composite score in the last decade – from 22.3 in 2004 to 24.6 in 2013.
