Campton Hills police reports

• A resident of the 40W000 block of Robert Lowell Place, Campton Hills, reported on Sunday, Sept. 1, that four juveniles – three boys and one girl – took a horse-drawn carriage from a new business preparing to open in the 40W200 block of Campton Crossings Drive in Campton Hills.

• Brian J. Wilson, 50, of the 39W600 block of Golden Rod Drive, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, Aug. 31, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was reportedly involved in a two-car accident at Bolcum and Burlington roads.

• A mailbox was reported damaged, possibly by a baseball bat, Tuesday, Aug. 27, in the 4N000 block of Trotter Lane, Campton Hills. Damage was estimated at $50.
