Akiel W. Davis, 21, of Carpentersville, was charged with three counts of disorderly conduct. Two of the counts are Class 3 felonies, and one count is a Class 4 felony. He was charged in the bomb threat incidents that closed three Kane County courthouses in September.
Stewart S. Parazaider, 29, of St. Charles, was charged with felony theft. Police said was attempting to steal wheels from a vehicle at a St. Charles dealership.
Jeffrey L. Modjeski, 32, of Geneva was charged with felony unlawful restraint. He also was charged with four counts of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Maurissa J. Daly-Hoare, 31, of St. Charles, was charged with driving with a revoked license, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, obstructing identification and improper lane use. An assistant state's attorney also authorized felony charges of aggravated DUI and driving with a suspended or revoked license more than three times, St. Charles police reported.
Jacob A. Mayes, from near Hampshire, was charged Sept. 3 with criminal sexual abuse of a victim 13 to 17 years old in St. Charles.
Jaime M. Diaz, 36, formerly of Aurora, was sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder. The life sentence is mandatory because he was convicted of two murders.
Scott M. Francis, 21, of Geneva, was charged with two counts of felony burglary. He was suspected of burglarizing cars parked at the train depot in Geneva.
Gregory T. Panzer, 59, of Geneva, was charged with felony production and possession of 69 marijuana plants that police said they found growing in his yard. He also was charged with misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Corey Robert Murtaugh, 25, of Geneva, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to St. Charles police reports. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, improper lane use and a seat belt violation. According to police reports, he sideswiped a telephone pole and crashed to a stop against a light post in downtown St. Charles.
