ST. CHARLES  – Charlie’s Center for the Arts and the St. Charles Public Library will present the GrassRoots Literary Showcase, a one-night-only event featuring readings from Chicago-area poets.
The free event is open to the public and will take place at 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the First Street Plaza in downtown St. Charles.

The three poets who will do readings include Jeremy Mercado, Corey Dillard and J.W. Basilo, who is headlining the event.
