Weekend Chit-chat with ... Kaneland softball’s Angie Morrow

One of the highest-profile transfers affecting the local high school sports scene this school year came in softball, where Wisconsin recruit Angie Morrow transferred from Burlington Central to Kaneland. A junior pitcher, Morrow missed her sophomore season at Central after undergoing shoulder surgery in March. Morrow, who said she and her family are relocating to Elburn from Lily Lake, spoke with Kane County Chronicle sports editor Jay Schwab about settling in at Kaneland and her recovery from what she called a “clean-up” procedure on her right shoulder.
