A story that ran on page 6 of the Sept. 10 edition of the Kane County Chronicle requires clarification. The weeds growing in a lot in Geneva were cut Sept. 4 – 68 days after Roy Harmon wrote a letter to his neighbor who owns the lot, and 16 days after Harmon repeatedly called and emailed the city code enforcement officer, aldermen and the mayor.

Also, due to source error, the listed price for the lot was incorrect. The price was $325,000. The Chronicle regrets the error.
