Coultrap rededication scheduled for Sept. 28

GENEVA – Geneva School District 304 Superintendent Kent Mutchler announced this week that the rededication of the Fourth Street building as the Coultrap Educational Services Center is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Sept. 28 at 227 N. Fourth St.

Because the elementary school is named for the district’s first superintendent, Harry Coultrap, recently was torn down, officials plan to rename its central office the Coultrap Educational Services Center.

The date and time was selected so members of the Coultrap family could be present, officials said.

In addition to the dedication, officials plan to open the time capsule retrieved from Coultrap’s cornerstone.
