Face Time with Robin Mathieu

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Springfield and Petersburg.

What was your first job? I was a lifeguard at a nursery school.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a librarian.

Did you become that? No, I became a nurse.

What’s your dog’s name? Bear.

What kind of dog is he? He’s a shelter mutt. We think he’s a Rhodesian ridgeback mix.

Do you have a favorite charity? We give to Children of Faith, which our church, Lord of Life, sponsors.

If you could appear on any game show, what would it be? “Wheel of Fortune.”

What is the best part of the dog festival? Being able to get the dog out and to see friends.

What are your favorite local restaurants? Papa G’s and Alice’s in Elburn.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I have twins.
