ST. CHARLES – A massage parlor employee who was charged with prostitution in St. Charles has pleaded guilty, according to Kane County court records.

Jing Zhang, 51, of Chicago was arrested March 7 after she offered to perform a sex act on an undercover St. Charles police officer for $50, records show.

Zhang pleaded guilty to the Class A misdemeanor Thursday.

Records indicate she was sentenced to supervision and must pay $500 in fines and costs.

The St. Charles Police Department’s investigation stemmed from an anonymous letter the department received from a concerned citizen, police have said.

The citizen told police he went to Marigold Massage, 2075 Prairie St., St. Charles, and was offered extra services if he paid more.

Marigold Massage remains open.
